Born November 4, 1918, Art Carney proved to be the best city worker to ever crawl out of the sewers of New York. He will be best remembered as "Ed Norton" ~neighbor to "Ralph & Alice" and husband to "Trixie". He and Jackie Gleason truly were a great comedy team. Mr. Carney will be remembered for many roles including "Harry & Tonto". Did you know he was cast in the originated role of "Felix Unger" in "The Odd Couple" on Broadway in 1965?
Mr. Carney left us November 9, 2003. Rest in peace "NORTON"!!
